On a lighter note from my last journal I am going to be planning out a contest. Yes a contest from me. Now here is what the base plan is:

The idea is that it will be kind of like an Original Character Battle, it would be done in rounds. Each round would have one person vs another. They basically have to draw their OC killing the other in pretty much ANY WAY they want within reason (no rape, uber gore etc) and vice versa. People would judge these pictures and the most creative and well done one would "win" that round, eliminating the other. Now there would be a deadline for each round of course. It would also go into the finals, semi finals etc until its just two survivors. There will be prizes and I can confirm many would donate stuff such as coloured drawings, sketches etc. Not money yet though but to be fair, this is fun and I am on a tight budget atm. Deadlines for all the whole thing would be about 3 months I would say, plenty of time that way. It can be done in a single pic, comic style, etc. Though one note, though I want some limit on how far people go, you'd have to be willing to accept that your OC might get zapped, beaten etc. If you think that will offend you, then don't enter.

Now I want to ask you these things. How interested would you been in this? Would you do it and what deadlines should I do? One flaw that someone has already pointed out to me is that due to time or lack of will, someone may drop out in a round leaving the other person the winner. Now this would not make much impact if it was one but if it was several, it'd ruin the contest. I want to ask you how would you deal with that or how you would do this thing altogether. The base idea can be changed and I want feedback. Also, when would you say is the best time to start this?
